Types of Therapy Available To You

individual therapy

If you are finding that your present life is deeply affected by past wounds and difficult experiences, it may be time to enter into therapy, where you can explore these events and understand their impact.

Individual Therapy may also include:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) to aid in trauma recovery

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to aid in relieving symptoms associated with anxiety

  • DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) to aid in learning skills that may improve emotional and relational functioning.

  • LGBTQIA+ Affirming care ~ Mine is an inclusive and LGBTQIA+ and Gender-Affirming practice and it is a hallmark of my work with individuals and their families.

SEX therapy

As a Certified Sex Therapist, I can help you to find a place of overall sexual well-being, improve sexual functioning, and enhance overall relationship satisfaction.

Areas where Sex Therapy may prove helpful:

  • Addressing trauma or emotional issues that are impacting relational and sexual functioning

  • Addressing sexual dysfunction or painful sex

  • Improving communication within your relationship or resolving relationship issues

  • Enhancing sexual satisfaction, especially when they are related to life transitions ~ emotionally or biologically

  • Providing education and guidance in all areas related to sexual health and functioning

family & couples therapy

We’ll work to understand current problems in the context of past emotional wounds.  My goal is to help each person become a more attuned and responsive partner or family member and engage in more reparative, not destructive, interactions.  The goal of each session is to understand a little more how the challenges in your relationship may actually be at the genesis of its greatest improvements.

Clinical Supervision

Working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker is a difficult enough process without the added challenge of unsupportive supervision.  Though very different from therapy, the process of engaging in Clinical Supervision requires the same support & attunement as one would hope for in a therapist.  I have been honored to assist my supervisees in their journey towards licensure and would welcome the honor of supporting you, too.

If you would like to schedule a consultation to see if Clinical Supervision would be a good fit between us, schedule a consultation call to see if I am a good fit to aid in your clinical journey.
